This project started outside my front door one sunday morning. The Salvation Army came to play and collect money from my street. This project evolved into a trip to East Africa focussing on the lives of children who had the misfortune of polio. The connection being that the work of the Salvation Army plays an important role in helping young polio sufferers to gain an education and skill by offering a accommodation and housing.
This work was published in The Guardian and The Independent newspapers as well as a touring exhibition around the UK.
